29-YEAR-OLD central midfielder Paul Terry signed for the O's in June 2007 after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury that cut short his 2006/07 season.

Barking-born Terry, who can also operate at right back, had previously been a virtual ever-present in the Yeovil Town team that reached the play-off final that year and he returned strongly for the O's last term, only missing three League games.

Paul, the elder brother of England international John, made his first senior appearances for Dagenham & Redbridge.

He remained at Victoria Road for four years, playing 130 games for the Daggers as they came close to promotion to the Football League.

Paul moved to Yeovil Town in August 2003 as the Glovers made their debut in League Two, and he was a vital part of the team that won promotion the following year.

He continued to look at home at the higher level and he brings a wealth of League One experience to the O's.
