Glenn proved himself to be a very able understudy to Glyn Garner over the past two seasons, filling in well whenever Orient's No. 1 was unavailable.

'The Cat' has frustrated strikers up and down the country since making his first team breakthrough in 2001 by thwarting their efforts with his lightning reflexes and outstanding agility.

A fantastic 2003/04 season saw Glenn assume the mantle of the club's first choice goalkeeper and also won him the Young Player of the Year award for the second successive year.

However, 2004/05 didn't produce the results he was looking for and he has had to settle for a place on the subs' bench for much of the time since - but having won a new contract in the summer of 2007, he will be looking to make the goalkeeper's jersey his own.

Glenn was a member of the O's double winning under-19 side of 2000/01, the highlight of which was keeping a clean sheet at the Millennium Stadium when Bradford were beaten in the final of the Football League Youth Alliance Cup.

He made his first team debut at the age of 17 and is close to racking up his first century of appearances for the club
