FORMER O's skipper John Mackie will pull on an Orient shirt for the first time in a year when he lines up for his old Sunday side, The White House pub, in a charity match this weekend.

Mackie, who played 135 games for the club before joining Brentford last summer, played for The White House as a teenager before signing for Crawley, and they will take on a Brazilian XI at Market Road, Islington on Sunday.

The game, which is raising money for the St Joseph's Hospice in Hackney, will kick-off at 10am, and Mackie's team will line up in O's colours after the club lent a playing kit to their ex-captain.

Mackie, who recently left Hornchurch to concentrate on his fruit and veg business in Camden, is hoping to see as many O's fans as possible support this worthy cause at the weekend.
