ORIENT'S topsy-turvy campaign finished on a high with an entertaining 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers. Jabo Ibehre capped things off with a late goal - but was it his last for the O's? He spoke to leytonorient.com after the game.

Jabo, a great way to bow out for you and the team?

"It was brilliant, a really good way to go out, and I'm really pleased to have scored at the end there. I had a few chances and I thought that earlier one was heading for the top corner, but I got my reward in the end."

You definitely got a touch on that ball as it dropped then?

"I definitely did! It took a long time to come down but I just went in there with the keeper and got to it first."

How important was it to finish with a win, after such an up-and-down season?

"We really needed it. The win has been a long time coming but we've finished on a high note and that's important looking ahead to next season. It was really good out there today, it was nice and sunny and that's always good to play football in, so it was a good day for everyone really."

How do you look back on the season overall?

"'It was very promising in a lot of ways. At the end of the day we've done a lot better than we did last season so it's a big improvement. We're still in League One, that's the main thing. It's a bit disappointing that having been in such a good position we didn't fulfil that promise, because you may not get the opportunity again. It depends how you look at it really, but thinking about where we were at the start of the season, there are a lot of positives we can take from it."
