MARTIN LING is relishing Saturday's visit of Leeds United.

The sold out signs went up at Brisbane Road two weeks in advance of this game and Ling believes his side can deliver a performance to match the occasion,

"It's a stand out fixture for us and it will be a good occasion," he said.

"Every ticket has been sold and the atomsphere will be special, so it's nice to get that natural lift on the back of three defeats.

"We can't deny that the last three matches have been disappointing, but there are four good games coming up in April and we want to get as many points as we can.

"It's important because we want to ensure that the improvement we make this year on last year is a significant one.

"We are a better equipped side for League One this year and we want that to be proven in our final league position."

Gary McAllister's side arrive in E10 just a point outside the play-off zone, but Ling is confident of getting one over the Yorkshire club.

He continued: "Leeds have just gone back up to seventh place and they will be looking towards the play-offs and promotion.

"They've still got a lot of hard work to go and I'm sure they won't relish coming here to play a team who has been in and around it all season.

"We should have beaten them at their ground too. We were proud of the way we performed that day, but disappointed that we hadn't taken all three points.

"We're not worrying about what happened up there earlier in the season now, it's more an issue of getting our season back on track as best as we can."
