ORIENT manager Martin Ling will reshuffle his team for Monday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at League Two side Notts County.

The O's boss is likely to promote the players who have spent the first month of the season on the substitutes' bench to the starting line-up as Orient get their JPT campaign underway.

But with injuries restricting the O's boss with his options, he will still travel to Meadow Lane with the majority of the same 16 who were involved on Saturday.

He said: "There will be changes, but we can't make wholesale changes because of the fact we're only operating with 16 fit players.

"We will be putting a side out there to win the game and a run in this competition would be useful for us.

"It's difficult at this stage of the Trophy, when crowds barely get over 1,000, but we have to focus our minds on the fact that it ends in a Wembley final and that would be fantastic for the club.

"We're also going into this game having not won in two, so I'd like us to nip that in the bud and continue with the momentum we've gained from the positive start to the season."

Ling will be without Stephen Purches (hamstring) and Wayne Corden (knee), as well as Brian Saah (hamstring), Clayton Fortune (shoulder) and Jabo Ibehre (ankle), but Sean Thornton returns from suspension.

Notts County are without Jason Lee as the striker is suspended, while midfielder Myles Weston is a doubt with a hamstring problem.  Former O's defender Adam Tann could come up against his old employers.
