SUNDAY'S 4-2 defeat at Doncaster Rovers saw Orient drop to fourth in the League One table, with Carlisle United, Swansea City and Tranmere Rovers sweeping past them.

Carlisle lead the way for the first time this season thanks to a 1-0 win at fellow high-flyers Southend United on Saturday.  Joe Garner (pictured) bagged the all-important goal in the second period.

Swansea City's Ferrie Bodde struck late on to seal a 2-1 win away at Yeovil Town and move his side up to second.  Jason Scotland had earlier given the Welshmen the lead before Yeovil's Kevin Betsy levelled.

Leeds United, incredibly, now occupy the final play-off position after a comprehensive 4-2 win over Millwall. The Yorkshiremen led 4-0 at one stage, but goals from Will Hoskins and former O Ahmet Brkovic gave the scoreline an air of respectability.

Luton Town ended Nottingham Forest's unbeaten away record with a surprise 2-1 win at Kenilworth Road.  Chris Perry and David Bell were on target.

Bas Savage scored a dramatic injury-time goal to give Brighton a 2-1 win at Hartlepool United.

Swindon Town, in ninth place, fell to a surprise 2-1 defeat away at struggling Port Vale.  Luke Rodgers opened the scoring for Vale, but Swindon's Lee Peacock hit back immediately.  However, a Danny Whitaker goal sealed victory for the Potteries club.

On-loan midfielder Alex Russell gave Northampton Town their first away win of the season.  Oldham Athletic were the team on the receiving end.

Walsall came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw at rock-bottom Bournemouth on Saturday.  Darren Wrack's late goal cancelled out Jo Kuffour's opener.

Crewe drew 2-2 at Cheltenham with all four goals coming in the final 16 minutes.  The visitors went 2-0 up through Simon Church and Ryan Lowe, but Cheltenham hit back with goals from Alan Wright and David Bird to earn a share of the spoils.

There was also late drama at Gillingham, where two goals in the final five minutes turned a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 victory over Bristol Rovers. Chris Dickson bagged the winner.
