LEYTON ORIENT was well represented at 'Redridge Youth', a recent Exhibition organised by Redbridge Connexions at Ilford Town Hall.

Trevor East and Lee Miller from the Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme (LOCSP) were on hand alongside Leyton Orient first team player Aiden Palmer to raise the profile of activities on offer for young people in the borough.

The exhibition had something for everyone with over forty exhibitors showcasing the support and advice available to young people in the area with Redbridge Mayor Councillor Joyce Ryan

"The event today was a great opportunity to meet people involved in delivering services here in Redbridge," enthused Lee Miller, LOCSP Community Development Officer. "We made a lot of contacts and spread the word about what we do. Having a Leyton Orient First Team player present really raised our profile and we look forward to continuing our work in the borough."

LOCSP Sports Development Manager, Trevor East added: "For us to be invited to such a prestigious event as this after working in the borough for just over a year is testimony to the great work our coaching staff are doing here."

LOCSP currently run FREE football coaching at the Orchard Estate ball cage on Monday evenings for 13-19 year olds as well as various Kickz sessions for 11-19 year olds at Hainault Youth Centre and the Fairlop Power League on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings for both boys and girls.
